Visiting Phil from the Büssli team

I usually work from my office and am not a big fan of working from home. That way, when I leave the office, I can switch off and enjoy my free time with my family.

I came to the subject of busses about 10 years ago. Back then, I was on the road with my tent almost every weekend. At some point I wanted a vehicle in which my camping equipment had a fixed place and I could get in and drive off without having to plan too much. That's why I bought a cheap T5 van from a plumber and converted it myself over the winter. 🛠

In the meantime, 3 seats were too few and the self-built bus was too small. Fortunately, our company's own T5 has a pop-up roof and 5 seats. We are therefore still on the road a lot.

Although I was already working in the camping/trekking industry at the time, it was difficult to find the products I needed. I had to order a lot from abroad and there were still few ready-to-use products. That was ultimately the reason why I came up with the idea of an online store for bus accessories in 2017. I then met Pete in 2018, he had the same idea and a year later we founded the bus store together. 

The first products we had in the store were exactly what I had in my van. I wanted to offer our customers a selection of carefully chosen products that made sense.
