I am Manuel Wolf, a master interior decorator from the Swabian Alb.
I founded the camping start-up in 2019 with the idea of sharing my craft and enthusiasm for camping to combine.
As I don't have the right set-up for my VW bus on the market that can be quickly removed and reinstalled, I made it my goal to develop something suitable. Done, done and off on vacation. 🚐💨

This was my new goal when I started developing our new product 4 years ago. Camper vans are a popular target for burglars who are after the vehicle or the valuables it contains. Protective measures can significantly reduce the risk.

The idea came about during my camping vacation in Sardinia in 2019, where I myself was the victim of a vehicle break-in. 😟
From our own experience, we have seen just how big the weak point of the sliding window is. Intruders have levered out the sliding window in a matter of seconds without any protection - in broad daylight. That's why I tried to minimize this weak point!
Our window lock from Wolfshund-Camping consists of 15 individual parts and 9 work steps. We developed all the parts ourselves and spent over a year tinkering and testing until the first product was ready. All window locks and the parts for them are manufactured and assembled by us in the Swabian Alb. We built jigs and had special tools made for this purpose.
After the first window lock was in place, we quickly realized that in the respective model series of VW model series are always fitted with slightly different windows, so we had to change the window lock again. The system can be fitted to any VW bus of the T5/T6/T6.1/Caddy model series. The lock prevents the window from being pried open and offers reliable protection against break-ins into the vehicle → High quality and easy installation!
Thanks to the spring mechanism of our window lockit can be installed quickly and easily on the window.
Big advantage: The system is variable and the standard window roller blind can still be operated. 😎
The safety handle is made from high-quality UV-resistant CFRP tubes. The end plugs are printed by a 3D printer. An Onyx filament from Mark3D is used. The filament provides stiff, strong and accurate parts. It is 1.4 times stronger and stiffer than ABS and has an excellent surface finish. The fuse is held in place by a 2.5 mm thick VA6 stainless steel sheet. 💪
Now I go on vacation with a better feeling and no longer worry when I go shopping and don't always have my bus in sight. 😀
