5 weeks Morocco off the road 🚐💨

Hi I'm Swen! 👋 At the Büssli shop, I am in charge of customer service. So we may have heard each other on the phone, exchanged emails or met at a trade fair!

It all starts with this encounter and a common passion - travelling, and so we are regularly at the Büsslen together with Aurélie! 

A year ago, I signed up for the legendary desert marathon in Morocco. I quickly realize that I don't want to fly there and back ... So we took the opportunity to plan a bigger trip and so the Morocco 2023 project was born.
Our route first takes us through the green, mountainous north of Tétouan via Chefchaouen towards Rabat. Short stop in Marrakech and then off through the valley of the Draa to Mahmid where we have our first experiences with driving in the desert.

We are now going our separate ways for a week. Aurélie finds a little oasis near Skoura and I tackle the 250km of the desert marathon!

Every trip is also the opportunity to test material from the Büssli shop . Here are a few products that now have a regular place with us. 🤙

Ventilation grille

We were a bit skeptical about this at first.... What's the point?

Away from the roads, we mostly slept upstairs, but near cities or at stops on the outward and return journey, safe "Büssli ventilation" is a real comfort.

Tip

When driving, the air pulls through and that can be annoying. But the grille can be dismantled and supplied in 20 seconds.

Cadac Grill

Small, compact and yet very robust! Can be used flexibly with grill plate, plancha or as a support for the Omnia oven

Tip

Using the various adapters, the grill can also be used with the small screw cartridges if necessary.

Omnia

The now legendary oven provides variety in the kitchen on the go. Pizza, bread, vegetables, etc. – with the Omnia you can live out your creativity to the fullest.

Tip

For easy cleaning, we always use the Omnia with the silicone mold.

Loki

Sure, it doesn't matter in the pampas, but it's still cool to have 😉 the toilet paper clean

Tip

In the picture you can see the dry toilet of Trelino. A perfect solution! 

Awning

Since we need the Büssli in everyday life, we have decided to do without an awning.

We tested the sun sail on this trip: compact pack size, easy to install, simply ideal for us!

Tip

When it comes to stand-up poles, it is worth relying on telescopic units.
